The Reynolds Music Company contacted James Chambers, Principal Horn NY Phil. to see if he could help them develop a Horn that could compete with his CONN 8D. A Horn was fashioned to Chambers specifications and production began around the late-50's. Chambers played the newly designed Reynolds Chambers Model for 3 years until a contract dispute. He removed his endorsement and name from any future Horns. Since that time, the Horns that were produced became collectible items, highly favored and sought after.
